Domenic is 33-years-old and lives with his parents in Willistown, PA. He attends the Melmark Meadows Program, a day program for adults with intellectual disabilities. His favorite part of the day is the time he spends with The Players Theatre Club, and he has starred in many of the Melmark’s Players Club shows. Domenic loves to travel, enjoys dancing, and is an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Domenic has also participated in Special Olympics swimming. He enjoys a good joke, is a “people person,” and is always excited to spend time with his family and friends. He volunteers for the Delaware County Advocacy & Resource Organization, which provides services for people with intellectual disabilities, and for Epic Church in Philadelphia.

Vera: So, Domenic, I’m not sure about this, because we haven’t discussed this, but did you lose anyone due to COVID?

Domenic: Oh, yes. I lost someone, one of my friends Melmark died COVID.

Vera: Was it a staff person? Or an individual?

Domenic: Individual not on staff.

Vera: Ohh, okay. And you were really close with them, Dom?

Domenic: Yes.

Vera: Oh, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know that. I’m sorry.
